Overview
Tierra del Mar Hotel was created based on an idea by Christian and Costanza, an Italian couple who fell in love with the island and decided to build this exclusive hotel in a unique setting: Holbox Island, part of the Yum Balam Nature Reserve and the Mexican Caribbean.
With only six rooms and catering exclusively to adult guests, the hotel aims to create a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere where guests can disconnect from everyday life and enjoy this wonderful island. The hotel is located in the centre of the small town, just one block from the beach and close to all amenities.
Guests will be impressed by the elegance and precision of the design: built exclusively with materials from the Yucatan Peninsula, it creates a contrast between the white cement floors, sapote and tzalam woods, and natural stones. All these elements combine in an elegant and modern style, both inside and out.
At the centre of the buildings is a beautiful garden with tropical ornamental plants arranged in perfect harmony.
The same style is found in all areas of the hotel: from the living room and the central palapa where breakfast is served every day, to the chill-out area around the pool.
